Deco Procedures Course at Eco Dive Center

  Tec Diver

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. This program is designed as a stand-alone course, but is
often combined with the Advanced Nitrox or Extended Range Courses. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and safely conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45 meters / 150 feet. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-up, and decompression techniques are presented.

Minimum age is 18 years, Advanced Nitrox, Proof of 25 logged open water dives

 Open Water Dives:

1. Four dives are required two of those dives must be deeper than 100 feet
2. If Advanced Nitrox is taught in conjunction with Decompression Procedures, only a total of six dives are required. tec

Technical Divers International allows instructors to structure courses according to the number of students participating and their skill level.

Technical Divers International Decompression Procedures ELearning Course
Required Diver Performance and Requirements Maximum training depths shall not exceed 150 fsw. The following open water skills must be completed by the student during all open water dives:

Land Drills

Selection and preparation of equipment suitable for soft overhead environments Conduct team oriented drills for lift bag deployment Conduct team oriented drills for gas switching procedures Gas matching among buddy teams Demonstrate familiarity with basic and technical hand signals Demonstrate adequate pre-dive planning for decompression profiles

Pre-dive Drills

Use START* before every dive START is...
S-Drill (OOA) &  Bubble Check
Team / buddy equipment checks
