Dive Boat: Sundiver in Long Beach, California.

The Sundiver is a 54-foot US Coast Guard approved and inspected dive boat equipped with supplemental oxygen and the latest safety equipment. Certified to carry 42 passengers, on day trips the Sundiver will take a maximum of 26 divers and for overnight trips, 22 divers. This allows for a much more comfortable and relaxed trip. From the blueprint stage, the Sundiver was designed as a dive boat with the diver's comfort in mind.

The Sundiver has two large dive gates for easy exits and a large two-level swim step platform to make getting back on simple as well. Dive gear is stored on a unique shelf system making it very accessible while protecting your gear. Air fill whips are available at all 32 tank stations, making it unnecessary to move your rig once you return from a dive. Tanks are included on all trips. We have twenty-six 85 cu ft low pressure steel tanks. 63 cu ft aluminum tanks, and 50 cu ft aluminum tanks are available on request. You can pick the type you are most comfortable with. Inside the Sundiver, you will find a comfortable area for divers to relax. There is seating for 16 and we have a Blueray DVD player with available inputs and a HD flat screen color TV. Below decks, Sundiver sleeps 22 comforables and apres dive naps or multi-day trips.

On Sundiver, we make a point of providing lush, buffet-style meals and snacks to please as many tastes and dietary likes as possible. Our typical meals include fresh fruits and greens, vegetarian selections, substantial and unique main courses, yummy snacks and signature deserts. WIth a little advance notice, we are more than happy to help you design specific menus for your groups, or cater to special dietary needs and preferences. No one ever leaves a Sundiver vessel hungry!


General Information

Sundiver trips to Catalina Island leave at 7:00AM, boarding begins at 6:00AM. The boat normally returns between 5:00-6:00PM. Santa Barbara Island and San Clemente Island trips depart at midnight and normally return between 6:00-7:00PM.

Tanks and weights are included on ALL trips. (Low pressure steel 85 cu ft or you can bring your own)
