Not only do you feel like you're flying, you cover a lot of ground with zero effort. With a DPV you could explore more, encounter more marine-life, and use less air! If you're a technical rated deep diver, underwater scooters (DPV's) help to reduce exertion and potential narcosis while giving you much more range at depth.
The Course: When you take our PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Specialty Course you will get instruction on how to handle the DPV. You'll learn about the equipment and how to operate it safely, charging, building, preparing and learn technics how to avoid damaging fragile aquatic life. You will plan and go on two DPV dives with an instructor. By the end of the course you will know under what circumstances a DPV would be beneficial and you'll be equipped to get more out of every dive.
