Weenie Roast at Eco with Mike Schaadt of the CMA! TUESDAY, NOV 6th @ 7:00 PM
The first Tuesday of the month means the Eco Divers are getting together again... this month with guest speaker Mike Schaadt, Director of the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. Mike has a great presentation on saturation diving -- living underwater to better understand the oceans. And don't miss the weenie roast, too! Bring your hunger for hot dogs, sausages, and an awesome night with divers! Tomorrow, November 6, at 7:00 PM at Eco Dive Center! All are welcome! Speaker Schedule and the Eco Dive Club web site. Just show up and grab a weenie!
Two Great Trips to a Rarely Dived Site: Gull Island on the Spectre
We're running two special charters to Gull Island on board the Spectre leaving from Ventura. Gull Island -- a rarely dived site -- is about 1 mile off the southwest shore of Santa Cruz Island. The site features pristine diving conditions, often with up to 80 feet of visibility, diverse marine life, and a deep wall. Divers will also be treated to beautiful shallow reefs on the other side of the Island. These trips are on December 16 and December 30. The Spectre will board the night before at 8:00 PM for check-in and an extremely early morning departure (you'll be asleep when the boat leaves at 5:00 AM) and you'll get 4 dives, food and airfills, and all the amentities of the Spectre for only $125. Boat Schedule. Call to reserve your ticket.
Casting Call! Eco Dive Center's Got Talent!
EDC will be producing a commercial for our website and we need YOU to be the STAR (or an extra). If interested, contact Kevin Sage at kevin@ecodivecenter.com. This should be a lot of fun, so DO IT!!
Do your next tropical trip as an Advanced Diver! (Or a Rescue Diver!)
We are planning two awesome trips in 2008: an April adventure to the Philippines and an exciting holiday trip to Grand Cayman in November. But don't miss out on some of the best dives -- like 100 foot wall dives -- because you aren't trained. Eco Dive Center will provide a FREE Advanced Open Water Diver or Rescue Diver course for those who book themselves on one of our tropical trips in 2008. These free courses include ocean training, books and materials, and even the rental gear you might need. Then you'll travel with more experience, confidence and skills to make your dive trip safe and fun. Call us at 310-398-5759 to make travel arrangements and to coordinate your FREE class! Looking for used gear? Check out our Rental Sale... It's a Win-Win.

Why not pass the deals on to you? You can get a used rental set-up including an Oceanic Ocean Pro BCD w/Intergrated weight system, an Oceanic regulator with alternate, an Oceanic Navcon Console SPG and depth gauge & Compass, 7mm wetsuit (jumpsuit) & Steel tank (LP77) for $700!
