our lives get sucked into work and responsibilities. It's dark when we leave the house, dark when
we come home, and our weekends are booked up before hump day. This
is when you need to go diving. Take a break in your busy schedule,
squeeze in a little "staycation" before the holidays. Or get ready for the summer with a tropical
trip. This edition of the Eco Dive
Center newsletter feature special "Fall-Into-Diving" opportunities you won't
want to miss!

Capturing the Sea
with Rod Klein - Tuesday, November 3 7pm at Eco Club Meeting for LA's Divers THIS TUESDAY NIGHT!
Underwater photography is one of the most popular scuba
activities. From novices with point and
shoot cameras to experts with massive equipment surprise us all with their
beautiful interpretations of the marine world.
The bright colors and unique creatures of the sea make for some of the
most intriguing photos. "How to get the shot," is one of the most common questions
instructors and dive professionals get asked on any boat. But few of us have the experience and talents
of a professional photographer like Rod Klein.
You've seen his shots on the covers of magazines, web sites, and on film and television. He's travelled from Southern California to
the greatest dive destinations all over the world, and taught thousands of
divers how to capture that perfect shot.
Come to Eco Dive Center on Tuesday, November 3, and meet Rod
and see first-hand what great underwater photography is made of. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM, with food and
dive buddies. Meet Rod and stay for the
raffle. And then take all you've learned
with you to Thailand!

Capture the 80+ Viz on
the Sundiver or Sand Dollar. - FREE Rentals All NOVEMBER with ticket!
The best secret of Southern California diving is the fall
conditions. The seas are usually calm
and the visibility is stellar. Before
the water temperature drops in the winter, local divers are treated to
visibility in excess of 80 feet out at the islands. Just last week, reports came in of 30-40 feet
at Redondo Beach, 50+ at Catalina, clear views of the shipwrecks in San Diego,
and calm and clear waters
at Anacapa.
Don't miss out on these conditions and do it up right aboard
the Sundiver or Sand Dollar. We have special trips to
Catalina on This Sunday November 1st, November 29 and December 6. Spend the day getting 3 dives at Catalina,
including 2 meals and airfills, with a 7:00 AM departure from Long Beach or San Perdo. The Sundiver and the San Dollar are amonst Southern California's
nicest full-service dive boats and includes it all for just $135 or $125!
