Diver, Scuba season is here and the water is warming up!

TONIGHT at 7PM! John Kades Investigates the Los Angeles Coast
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We'll start it all off with a sobering and important presentation from
Capt. John Kades, a dive accident investigator with the Los Angeles
County Coroner's office. John is a diver and an expert in dive related
accidents in Southern California. He's given his presentation about
dive safety to the Southern California Scuba Show and hopes that the
insight he can provide will save the lives of divers. His presentation
to the Eco Divers is always popular and informative.

2. Show up at 7:00 PM for a bite to eat and be ready for an important

Automated External Defibrillator Specialty Certification 6/4 at 7pm
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We're
offering a specially priced AED training program and certification.
Refresh your CPR and First Aid training and learn how to fully
integrate today's common technology. Automated External Defibrillators
are becoming more common place - Eco Dive Center takes one on our dive
charters - and easy to use. This course covers all of the basics and
prepares you to respond in an emergency whether on a dive boat or at
the shopping mall. Call the shop at (310) 398-5759 to sign-up for this
specially priced course. $40 includes training session and your
certification card.

Shipwreck Diving this weekend in San Diego - GREAT VIZ RIGHT NOW!

June 6 and 7 - Eco Dive Center is doing another Wreck Weekend down in
San Diego. Two days of four amazing dives on the artificial reefs of
Wreck Alley, plus a room in the downtown San Diego. What else could

PADI Divemaster Program w/ Chris Robinson - Starts June 9th
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Being a role model and inspiring divers is your passion, becoming a
Divemaster is a necessity. The first of
the professional ratings, Divemasters supervise and counsel divers, work on
dive boats and at dive centers all over the globe, and help instructors mold
tomorrow's divers.
The world of being a professional diver and the culmination of all of your
dive training can start this month with our Divemaster Course Orientation night
on Tuesday, June 9th. Once
you have your books and are ready to get started, you'll begin the adventure
and learn the ropes. For more

Oxygen Administration: Easy to Learn, Important to Know - 6/18 at 7PM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All the experts agree, 100% oxygen is the best first aid
when someone is suspected of having decompression illness. Are you ready to
act? Do you know how to set up the equipment, which mask to use, or how to monitor
the diver?
Eco Dive Center is offering a PADI Specialty Course in
Oxygen Administration for the special price of $40 including all the materials
and certification. The Oxygen Administration course is an interesting, hands-on
class that will prepare you to act and provide oxygen first aid to anyone in
need. Youll leave with a full orientation on different protocols, the variety
of masks, and how to assemble and disassemble the most popular oxygen units.
