LIVE SWELL SHARKS! "Everything you need to know about CA Sharks" Presentation on Nov 2nd 7pm - Everyone is invited to this special event with live baby Horn Sharks and live baby Swell Sharks. Jose Bacallao, senior Aquarist of the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium will present a great presentation about California Shark behavior, reproduction and anatomy. Food served at 6:30pm, seating is at 6:45pm and presentation starts at 7:00pm sharp. Everything is free and provided by EcoDiveClub.com just show up and bring everyone!

BEST DIVE SITE: November 6th -It's been said a lot: Farnsworth tops the list of Southern California divers' favorite list. This pinnacle features some of the best visibility, impressive views, and large fish. The pinnacle is found deeper than 55 feet - is an impressive structure on its own, but because it lies almost 2 miles off shore of Catalina it is a popular spot for larger pelagic fish. Farnsworth Wall is also know for it's amazing purple corals.
Because of the depths and possible currents, Farnsworth Banks is only accessible by experienced divers with a minimum Advanced Open Water certification, so it's a great place to put your training to work.

farnsworth is a popular place to earn your Deep Diver Specialty certification or finishing your Advanced course under the supervision of one of our teammates, so be sure to ask when you book your spot! In the Deep Diver Certification at Farnsworth, your instructor will train you and take you to 130 feet - the limit of recreational diving, really exciting!!!

UPGRADE Instructional Option: Dan Rood (instructor) will be teaching Advanced Deep Dives for certifications.
