Master Scuba Diver Certification

You learned the basics in your Open Water Course. Then curious about what lay beyond the open water limits, you went through Advanced Open Water. Seeing that part of becoming a better diver was about knowing how to handle emergencies, you stepped up to the challenge of getting Rescue Certified. You dive regularly. Your log book is filled with accounts of deep dives, night adventures, murky excursions when the viz dropped off to nothing and of course, warm, perfect, beautiful dives when you wished you could have stayed under all day long. You have built up experience and learned about the special concerns of diving in a number of environments and now you find that you’re thirsty for more. It’s time to take the next step to become a Master Scuba Diver.

The PADI Master Scuba Diver Course takes you to the top non-professional certification in recreational diving. A Master Scuba Diver has experience, knowledge and wisdom beyond the vast majority of the recreational diving community. With more than 20 hours of academics and at least 11 open water dives, the course is intense and comprehensive. You’ll put your previous experience to work as you learn about physics, physiology and decompression theory as well as receiving instruction about equipment and more about the underwater environment in general.

The certification of Master Scuba Diver is not handed out lightly. Once you’ve completed the course you will have amassed the experience and knowledge to be confident in just about any underwater situation. You’ll think back to the time when you had completed Advanced Open Water and you thought you knew it all and you will realize that you had really only scratched the surface.

Knowledge, skills, equipment and experience are the keys that unlock the gates to adventure and discovery in scuba diving. The possibilities are literally unlimited. A Master Scuba Diver is at the apex of recreational diving. Where you go from there is bound only by your own desire and imagination.
