WRECK DIVES this Saturday August 20th aboard the "Raptor"
These wrecks in the northern Channel Islands are almost untouched virgin wrecks. A nice change of pace compared to the constant traffic of divers exploring our San Diego wrecks. If you've conquered the Yukon and Ruby E, you have to sign up for these thrilling dives. They're a must do and a fun logbook addition. ALL INVITED!
Wreck Dive #1: Kelp Cutter in 85ft depth. Fully intact wreck, parts of it can be penetrated. She was an unintentional sinking in the 80's, with lot's of growth, fish and resting in the clear blue water of Anacapa Island.
Wreck Dive #2: The Pea-cock US Navy Mine Sweeper rests in 80ft of depth, hull intact, partial structure, lots of marine life, great wreck history, and in clear water off the coast of Anacapa Island.

"Wreck Diver" is all of September.
Hidden off our local coast here in Santa Monica Bay lies the "Star Of Scotland" shipwreck in 65ft of depth.
She's a long 180ft wreck with a stunning array of marine-life like Sand-bass, large assortment of Rock-fish and an occasional Giant Black Sea Bass.
Lobsters and crabs crawling her pink and orange anemone encrusted decks.
While you explore her substructure you realize you're low on air and need to grab a full tank from the Bat Ray dive boat above. Excitement builds because once again, you get to do it all over again for the second dive.
