Re-introducing one of the most prestigious scuba certifications, it's called the LA County ADP Certification! (Advanced Diver Program).  The course includes over 100 hours of training - both in and out of water - ensuring that by the end of the course you'll have the skills necessary to handle (and have fun in) almost any scuba situation.  Whether you've been diving for years or are a total newbie, the ADP program will teach you something, refine your skills, and make you a more confident diver.

June Schedule: 

Day one     Saturday June 2nd – Dive Shop &  Hawthorne Pool -  Pool session – skin and SCUBA skills check, swim evaluation

Day two     Sunday June 3rd - Cabrillo Beach Dive Site - Skin dive 1 – SCUBA dive 1   Beach skin dive skills, beach SCUBA skills check - sandy beach

Day three   Saturday June 9th - CORRAL CREEK - Beach dive – Air consumption, Navigation, Kick cycles, arm spans, pressure and time for 100 ft transect  SCUBA dives 2&3  

Day four    Sunday June 17th - "Sand Dollar" Dive Boat to Catalina Island - Boat Dives - Deep, Rescues, DPV use, SCUBA dives 4, 5 and 6

Day five     Saturday June 23rd - LEO CARRILLO -Beach dive - Long distance surface and U/W navigation, Rocky shore, Wash-ups. SCUBA dives 7 , skin dive 3  

Day six      Saturday June 30 – Castic Lake - Lake altitude dives Navigation, Lift devices, U/W construction,
U/W Searches. SCUBA dives 8, 9, 10, and 11

Day seven  Sunday July 1 – "Peace" Dive Boat to Anacapa Island Trip- Boat dives – Wreck dive,
u/w Search patterns. SCUBA dives 12 , 13, 14

Days eight Saturday July 8th Magician to Catalina Island for 1 Night dive, Kelp work, U/W Photography,
make ups, SCUBA dives 15, 16, 17
