Handicapped Scuba Certification Program - HSA in L.A.

  We're proud be a member of the Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA) training program, and as such, it can offer Open Water and Advanced Scuba Diver Certifications to  about 15% of the population that is statistically classified as "handicapped".  

Our Open Water Diver training program for people with disabilities are taught with a high margin of safety and let's not forget, taught with our fun HSA certified professionals. Keeping it fun and safe is our goal her at EDC. Read about Dan Rood (HSA Instructor) 

Also, many of us know someone, a friend or family member, maybe a veteran we'd like to involve in scuba diving. Or, we'd welcome the challenge of learning about disabilities, accessibility issues and how to dive with people who have disabilities. If so, you will want to be certified as a HSA-Dive Buddy. This certification offers able-bodied divers the opportunity to expand their underwater world to include sharing it with a handicapped partner.
