Divers Alert Network Instructor Courses

We're proud to offer all of Diver Alert Networks Instuctor Courses.

As a DAN Instructor, you can offer your students nine additional classes. Before you begin expanding your professional DAN ratings, you'll need to take DAN's Online Core Exam . Make sure to print out your IQC CORE EXAM completion diploma and bring it to our in-store DAN instructor trainer upon registration.

These classes are:

Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries

Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries

First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries

Automated External Defibrillators for Scuba Diving

Basic Life Support for Dive Professionals

On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers

Diving Emergency Management Provider Program

You can take all nine modules as part of one course, or just take the Core Module and one course module - whatever you are interested in teaching. Later, as long as you remain a current and active DAN Instructor, you can take additional modules without retaking the Core Module.

Prerequisites for DAN Instructor Qualification Course:

• DAN Member
• Current Provider training within 24 months in all courses seeking instructor certification
• Active scuba diving professional
• Current CPR Instructor
• Documentation of First Aid training
